ok here is the deal, i have heard from other mom's in the biz that if you have a show pig needing to gain some extra pounds before show -" you should place yellow mustard on their feed." is there any fact to this, or is this something so far fetched that it is just a joke. We personally have never heard of such. I think we have all heard about eggs, cake mix, soy oil.. and the list goes on. just wondering if ANYONE had heard of this "pig tail" before, Would love to hear your comments..
I think we all know that 6 lbs of high protein feed will turn into 2 to 2.5 lbs of weight per day, sometimes three. We feed twice a day and have always had a great turn out.

| Mustard on the feed is what my Grandfather told me to use for when horse had dry cough. Never have heard use for weight gain. Good luck.

thanks ! just wondering about the mustard tip.. we had never heard of it and was sure wondering if anyone had. Some kids are doing it, and say the hogs are eatin' it up-- They just squirt it on the feed and the hogs go to it.. We had never heard of such.. lol -- What ever works huh? LOL
