found a white mucus in show pig's stool tonight, not sure what it might be. Pig is active and alert, show no signs of illness.
Feed pig this morning and pig ate some but did not clean it up like normal. She has not shunned the feed she nibbles at it but does not go to it like usual. What do you think??

Click on the link and see if the Diagnoses of Ileitis could be what you have.
Keep in mind that LA-200 or Tylan will work but you need to act fast!
It would not be a bad idea to get one of these meds on-bord soon as you can.

Thanks for the input. I really appreciate it. Glad to know there are some good folks still out there.
The feed we placed in feeder was gone this morning when we went to check on her. We feed her this morning and by this afternoon she had consumed that as well. I have some LA-200 on hand, she weighs about 115 now, how much do you suggest we give her?
can view the pig at http://www.HogProject.com take a look and you will see the commitment my daughter has with this and all projects.

Target weight is 265-270. We have 73 days till show.
We are feeding 20% protein feed @ 6 lbs a day.
we weigh her every 7 days and right now she is gaining 3 lbs a day.
we are waiting for another bloom of growth, here in the next 10 days. we will bump her up on the feed and we will hit the target weight amd start the finishing feed.

We like to full feed them up to 150- 160 Lb. before we start reg. there weight to a slow grow them open them up two or three weeks before weigh in gives them a fresher look at show time you only need to gain 2.2Lb a day .I looked at the link you posted seems to me you know what you are doing.
Take Care
Ron

Pig is well and that is great ! We are fixing to have a cold snap here in FL and that will set us back a few days with her eating. The good thing is, that is doesn't stay cold in FL for too long. We will keep you in the loop! Thanks again for all your help and advise.
